Presentation Title: Landscape, Fine Art and sharing your Visual Perspective
Presentation Description: Join Tony as he shares some insights into his diverse portfolio of fine-art & landscape images and the inherent philosophies behind them. He will discuss some of the basic tenets of his work, and will also explore personal style, paper choices and some thoughts around exhibiting and presenting your work. “Any image is often an opportunity to share new perspectives, and perhaps explore a viewpoint that hasn’t been seen or felt before. What are your images about …? Mine …? I am witness to the dance between the water and the light”

Tony Hewitt’s photographic journey has seen him explore multiple genres including Fine Art, Aerial, & Landscape. With an instinctive sense of the moment, he brings a unique combination of creative skills, and award-winning photographic vision. He is a well-respected and sought-after creative mentor and coach, leads a variety of international photography tours, and offers a diverse range of opportunities for learning and inspiration. A Grand Master of Photographer with the AIPP and WPPI, Tony was awarded the AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year in 2013. As recently as August 2021, he received the ‘Bill Hurter’ Award at WPPI in Las Vegas, USA, for the highest aggregate score, and in January 2020, won the overall Photographer of the Year at the SWPP 20×16 Print Awards in London UK. Tony is regularly invited to judge and chair at local, national and international levels for the past 25 years and is a highly respected professional speaker presenting on subjects as diverse as Photography, Fine-Art, Creativity, Vision, Repoire and Personal Awareness. As an internationally recognized Fine-Art Photographer, Tony has exhibited within Australia and Overseas since 1995, the latest being the ‘Occuli’ collection, his 6th solo exhibition at Lynton & Kay Galleries in Australia. More of his work features in the incredible 100 piece ‘Girt by Sea’ collection, captured during a 31 day circumnavigation of the Australian coastline. Tony loves, great music, the beach in winter, red wine, and a game of table of table tennis
