The 2023 Australian Photographic & Videography Prize, Australia’s leading photography awards, has crowned the winners of the 3 day photography industry event held at the Photography Studies College, Melbourne, 21-13 July 2023.
This year the Prize received entries from some of the most talented and prolific photographers from over 18 countries, 650 entrants and 2,198 submissions – doubling last year’s numbers.
This presented a huge challenge for the distinguished international judging panel to review each image and select the winners of 22 categories.
The judges praised the winners for their exceptional storytelling and photographic artistry across the various genres showcased at the awards.
“We’re absolutely blown away by the standard of entries this year and the overwhelming response we’ve had from some of the industry’s most acclaimed photographers,” said Australian Photographic Prize Director, Robyn Campbell.
Featuring some of the most incredible images from around the globe, The Australian Photographic & Videography Prize is quickly becoming world-renowned as the premier photography competition for outstanding photographic work.
