This will be a great night to connect and catch up, and an opportunity to glean from some of our incredible judges as they analyse prints (without knowing who’s they are) and provide unique feedback that will empower you as you move forward in your photography and printing journey.
FAQ:
Q. Do you have to bring a print along? What if I can’t print before the night?
A. No, you may also bring a USB with your image on it. Priority will first go to prints and then we will move onto the digital files that will be presented on a calibrated EIZO monitor
Q. If I’m an amateur and only planning to enter the Digital Competition, is this night still for me?
A. The judges will be analysing the Photography and you will learn a lot from what is discussed on the night.
Q. I am a student, is this critique night for me?
A. Yes, yes and yes! This is an incredible opportunity to jump in head first and learn from some of the most experienced judges and photographers in the industry. Get your butt to this event!

Melbourne Image Critique Night – 13th July

Come join us and have your images and prints critiqued by professional photographers chosen for their extensive judging experience and photographic skill.
This event will take place at Rocco Ancora’s new studio in Mt Waverley, Melbourne, Australia (following the Award Printing Workshops).
Join us from 6:30pm. Your ticket includes nibbles and a drink on arrival.

Award Printing Workshop – 13th July
The Award Printing Workshop will be held at Rocco and Tanya’s new studio space in Mt Waverley on Wednesday the 13th of July.
Rocco Ancora will teach you:
- The Importance of Viewing conditions
- Matching Screen to Print
- Colour Management Setup
- Monitor Calibration
- Importance of Paper Selection
- Optimizing files for award printing
- Hands on – Attendees will have one of their own files printed. (Complimentary print)
When: 9am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm
