Subcategories (APP Epson Print Awards ONLY)
Student Prize – Sponsored by Wacom
Students may elect to compete for an additional Student Prize, awarded to the highest
scoring print submitted by a tertiary student. Student entrants are defined as those currently
enrolled in a certified undergraduate photography or arts-related tertiary education course at
the close of entry on 5pm Monday 29 August 2022 (AEST).
Master Photographer Prize – Sponsored by Studio Ninja
Entrants who have earned the title of Master(s), either academically or in competition, may
choose to participate in the Master Photographer Prize, awarded to the highest scoring print
by a Master Photographer. Qualifications include MA (Master of Arts), AIPP/NZIPP Master,
WPPI M, Portrait Master, BIPP Associate or equivalent.
Grand Master Prize – Sponsored by Studio Ninja
Entrants who have earned the title of Grand Master, either academically or in competition,
may choose to participate in the APP Grand Master Prize, awarded to the highest scoring
print by a Grand Master Photographer. Qualifications include PhD, DCI, AIPP/NZIPP GM,
WPPI GM, Portrait Masters Fellow, BIPP Fellow, FRPS or equivalent.
