As a CreativeLive Instructor and founder of FilmingLife® Academy, Courtney has taught filmmaking to over 50,000 photographers worldwide and has built the largest network of family filmmakers in the world who’s mission is to give the gift of memory preservation through family films to as many people around the world as possible.
“As artists, it’s so easy to fall into the trap of feeling like our work is not good enough to submit for awards. There will always be more we can do, and details we can pick apart. This is normal, and it’s ok to be nervous about it. But at some point we have to let go and move past that fear. We have to do the thing we’re most afraid of doing, in order to grow and stretch ourselves to our fullest potential. Take the leap and trust yourself. Let go of any fears or self doubt you may have and use this as an opportunity to grow as an artist. You deserve that.”— Courtney Holmes
